SP-Industry has its roots in 1993, when the company was founded as SP-Stål by Per Larsen.
With a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship, the foundation was laid for a company built on solid values and long-lasting customer relationships.
In 2015, his son Peter Larsen took over the leadership and changed the name to SP-Industry – a natural step in line with the company’s development toward modern industrial production, broader competencies, and international customers.
SP-Industry today
Today, SP-Industry is a flexible and competent partner for large parts of Danish industry – with a particular focus on sheet metal processing, welding, and advanced machining.
We place great emphasis on automation and process optimization, enabling us to deliver solutions with high consistency, precision, and efficiency. At the same time, quality remains a key principle throughout our entire value chain – from the first drawing to the finished product.
In 2022, Brian Kyed Sørensen joined the company as both co-owner and CFO in daily operations. His entry strengthened the internal structure and contributed to a more strategic and data-driven development of the company.
In 2024, SP-Industry acquired LYMO ApS to expand its competencies within machining. As part of the acquisition, a new department was established in Fredericia, increasing the company’s geographical presence and capacity.
With strong expertise and continuous development, SP-Industry stands today as a modern and reliable industrial partner.

Timeline – SP-Industry’s Journey
1993
SP-Stål is founded by Per Larsen in the garage in Bevtoft.
1996
The garage becomes too small, and the company rents space in the Old Dairy in Bevtoft.
1999
To gain more space, the Old Dairy is purchased, increasing the production area to 1,200 m².
2002
The company continues to grow and establishes a department in Vojens in the former Brødrene Gram production halls. The company now operates departments in both Vojens and Bevtoft.
2006
The company expands and moves to Metalparken in Vojens, setting up production in a 2,000 m² hall.
2015
2016
The production area is expanded by an additional 700 m² through the acquisition of the neighboring hall.
2022
Brian Kyed Sørensen joins as co-owner and assumes the role of CFO.
2024
SP-Industry acquires LYMO ApS and establishes a new 500 m² department in Fredericia – with a focus on machining.
